The seven time World Champion Black Sox will take on Team Europe, 2nd September in an exhibition game prior to the Men’s European Super Cup, 3-8 September. The Super Cup solely for European club teams will feature a number of Black Sox players who have been picked up as guest players to help bolster the chances of European club sides. Watts who pitched his club side Papanui into the final of the National Open Clubs tournament last March is an exciting talent and another pitcher that can bring plenty of heat to the pitching roster. The Black Sox who already possess a world class pitching line up will further that depth through Watts’ inclusion. The camp will focus on establishing a strong understanding of the year ahead, and what players need to be working on.
